Kale Exploring @ Olbrich

Yesterday, We headed to Olbrich Garden's with the family.  Chris did his internship there this summer, and several of us had never been there.  So we decided to go visit, and take the kids.  It was a great HOT day.  After the tour of Olbrich and a nice picnic lunch, we headed to the Zoo for a bit!  It was a nice day!  I think everyone had a good time.

Visit w/ Grandma & Grandpa Schneider

Rylee and Grandma Schneider "crafting"

Rylee, Grandpa Schneider, and Eli going out to see the cows.

On Tuesday we headed down to Hollandale to visit Grandma and Grandpa Schneider.  We hadn't seen them since Christmas, so it was a very nice visit.  The kids went with Grandpa to see his cows.  Which Eli & Kale we afraid of.  Grandma and Rylee did some crafts (tried to make a corn necklace).  We caught up with them, and played.  It was a great afternoon.  The only issue we had is that their road is under construction and if it wasn't for the nice guy in the Bulldozer we might not have made it to their house.   He had to clear a path for us to get in the driveway.

After Dinner @ Restarant...Rylee the Pirate riding the Gator!

It was a very fun couple days!  The kids had a lot of fun, and Mom and Dad got wore out!  We found out that Eli is a water monster, and Rylee is a dare devil.  Eli will go up and down the waterslides all day if you let him, and Rylee loved the Roller Coasters!  I had to go on the big ones with her, and she loved them!  Kale was too little for a lot of stuff, but still had fun in the play area and lazy river.  He also loved the Train!

That's a lot of Ducks...

Last weekend was a busy one.  Saturday, the Kids and I went to Susie the Duck days with Sally, Mikki, and Cash.  We watched the parade, saw the rubber ducks race, and the kids played hard.  It was hot, so we ended the afternoon with some icecream!  It was a good day!  Then Sunday, Trent, the kids, and I headed up north and spent the day at the pond.  It was a great day!  The weather was so nice.  The kids played, went for Gator rides, swam, and hung out!  The kids stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's for the week, and Trent and I headed home!  It was a wonderful weekend.

The kids are at Mom and Dad's for the week.  They are having fun with the Donkeys and going to the pond today!  They love hanging out up there.  They always have something to do!  If it's not playing with the kittens, or brushing the Donkey's, it's singing in Mom and Dad's Living room.  Apparently Rylee is the lead singer, Eli is the tamborine player and Kale plays the organ!  It's quite the sensation!

Susie the Duck...

Tomorrow we are heading to Susie the Duck Days in Lodi.  There is a Parade at noon, and the duck race at 1:30!  I can't wait.  The kids and I are going to go have a great time!  I can't wait!  Hopefully it's not too crazy!  I am going to go down and buy the "Ducks" tonight.  First Prize is $1500 bucks!  Go Ducky!  :)

Sunday we are heading to Mom and Dad's to drop the kids off.  After spending this last week at Trent's Mom's House they are going to be spending next week at My Parent's House.  Then the next week we are going to head to the Dells for a couple days of vacation...

Have a great weekend!

Registration for 1st Grade...

Rylee as a Newborn!

Tonight I have to go register Rylee for 1st Grade.  I can't beleive that she is going to be in 1st grade.  I was just a couple days ago, we were bringing her home!  It's crazy to think that she is that old already.  We will find out who her teacher is, and who is in her class tonight.  I am hoping she get's a teacher that is as caring and good as last year's teacher.  She really did well in kindergarten.  So after I write out the 15 checks and get her all registered tonight, I will have to call her and let her know who is in her class, and who her teacher is.  School will be starting soon!

It's been a busy couple of weeks, but I think things are slowing down a bit now.  Baseball, Tball, and Soccer all over with, so that frees up some time...Now we can actually spend some nights outside and playing this summer with the kids.  We might even sneak in a bike ride or two!  Ha ha!
