Last night after we got home from work, the kids and I decided to head down to the high school. Why you ask? Well, Rylee started riding her bike without training wheels at the end of last summer, but this spring she has been tenative to try again. So last night we headed down to the parking lot, the nice flat parking lot to practice riding with out training wheels. The boys also brought their bikes down to race around the parking lot too! I was really proud of how well Rylee did. She was riding around with no problem. So the plan for tonight is to get out her new bike (that Santa brought) that doesn't have training wheels, and head back to the High School to try that one out. Last night she was riding Mikki's old bike (which is really too little for her), but has no training wheels and a bar so that someone can help hold the bike up if needed. So tonight it's her brand new bike...No Training wheels, no help!
Eli wants to try using Mikki's two wheeler tonight. He says he is ready to ride without training wheels. He is getting BIGGGGGER! Just ask him he will tell you. So we told him he could try tonight! I am going to bring the camera and video camera.
Kale spent the time riding his little bike that he pushes with his feet. But he really enjoyed it when I would run and push him and then let go. He would fly across the parking lot. Then turn to me and sign "more"! Eli also pushed him around the parking lot for a bit. Eli made me nervous,he would run at things, like the ditch, the curb, cement posts...Etc! But Kale survived! ha ha!
