Little bit of this...Little bit of that...

Cash's New Do!
My darling Nephew and Godson wanted to have his hair cut this way. He begged and Mike & Sally finally gave in! I don't care for it, but he loves it! Those wrestlers! They are just plain strange! ha ha!
Besides crazy haircuts...Not much else is going on. We have a game tonight in Lake Mills so it' going to be a long drive tonight. We need to play hard or it's going to be a rough night! Lake Mills has a good team. We have been practicing a new press and some transition offenses so I hope we will be ready! I guess we will so find out!
Rylee is really doing good on learning to read. It's amazing to me how they just catch on to it. She is doing a much better job sounding the words out. Soon she will be reading anything! She is also doing basketball on Saturdays. She seems to really like it.
That is all I know today...Sorry about the complete randomness in my thoughts today. I feel like life is moving so fast right now that I have to make it slow down a bit. I am looking for a nice weekend!

It's a blur...

That is how I feel life has been lately...It's all a blur! Work has been busy, Rylee is in basketball on Saturday mornings, Trent is playing basketball on Tuesday nights, I am busy with Practice and Games for my team. We have stuggled a bit as of late, but at still working hard! Last night we had team pictures, and late practice. It was almost 7 p.m. by the time I got home. Trent and the kids were finishing up eating. Rylee had to bring snack today to school, so we headed to the grocery store to buy some fruit and cheese. Then spent the next 45 minutes making fruit/cheese kabobs. By the time we got the toys picked up and the snack made it was time for the kids to go to bed. I didn't even get a chance to read to them last night.

I know they say as you get older the days/years go faster and faster, but seriously...It's been a blur for the last couple weeks! I am not sure where the month of January went! I am sure that things will slow down once basketball season is over...then again...Rylee's soccer will start up soon after that...so maybe not! ha ha!

Crazy Kale!

Kale Before

Kale After

Goofy Boy...That don't you want us to see your new haircut?

Kale is now 16 months old, and getting to be even more fun. He can communicate now! Which is always tons of fun. He doesn't say many words, but he does a lot of signing, and will take your hand and show you what he wants. He is really starting to want to do everything that Eli doesn. If Eli wants to play cars, so does Kale. If Eli takes off his shirt, Kale wants his shirt off. If Eli...You get the point...

KC has gotten a couple hari cuts over the last few months, but needed on really badly. That Curly hair and stocking hats are not a good mix! With work being crazy right now, and basketball...We haven't had a chance to get his hair cut. Kara kept threatening that if we didn't get it cut soon she was going to cut it for us! Well, yesterday she did! KC got his first buzz! I can't beleive how much he looks like Eli! It's amazing to see! He is so handsome!

Game of Dominos

Kids yelling from the Balcony...(Rylee, Mikki, Cash, Eli)

Sorry for the long break in blogging. It’s been a busy couple of weeks. We had Christmas with my family last weekend. We also had Christmas with Trent’s Dad, celebrated New Year’s at Jodi’s house, and finally got the Christmas decorations down! The last couple weeks have been a blur. We were lucky enough to celebrate Christmas six times, so it was a busy couple of weeks. We had a great Christmas! Trent’s Dad and Brother came up and we ate, watched a movie, and played with the kids. Saturday we headed to my Mom and Dad’s house to celebrate. We made Leftsa, ate, opened gifts, played games, watched a movie, had a scavenger hunt, ate some more, and played Dominos! It was a lot of fun.

This last week we had 2 basketball games, and practice. We lost our first game after break, but won on Friday night, so we are officially 6-2! This coming week we play against Columbus, who (I have been told) has a very very good basketball program, so it’s going to be a tough game! We will be ready! Ha ha!

I will post more pics from the scavenger hunt when I get them downloaded!
