Brewer Game/Pond

Eli, Kale, and Me at the Pond
We had a great weekend. I have tons of pictures to share. Saturday we went to the Brewer game. We had a nice time. We meet at Jen's at 2:30 p.m. and headed over to the park to tailgate. We had a lot of fun...Good food! Amy announced to us that her and Tim are going have a baby! We are very excited to hear that news! YEAH! We headed into Miller Park and got into our seats (the nose bleeds!). We had a group of guys in front of us that were visiting from England, and were having a great time. I think they might have had a couple beverages too! They were cheering and singing...They gave Rylee a coin (5 pence). She was very excited about it! After a couple innings we went to the play area and burned off some energy. Then we headed back to the seats and watched the Brewer's come back and win the game. The kids were very tired, and feel asleep before we were even out of the parking lot! It was a lot of fun.
Sunday the kids and I headed up to Mom and Dad's to pick up Kale. We went down to the pond and played. The kids swam and played in the sand. I raked the "beach" and got rid of some of the seaweed that was growing around the pier. It was a nice day. Of course the kids had to go for gator rides, see the kitties and donkeys too! Then we headed home! It was a nice weekend!

Kale and Scott Smith (Kale's Godfather)
This picture is from Rylee's birthday party! Kale and Scott...Thank you Charity for the picture...I think Scott is teaching him how to throw a curveball! ha ha! Last night we headed outside into the heat for a bit to let the puppies play! They were running all over the place. It's a lot harder to watch 8 dogs when you don't have a fence! They are really starting to get cute! I am going to try and get a video of them running with the kids. They will run and the puppies chase them! It's cute. Kale was crawling around on the little playset we have in the backyard. He was crawling up the stairs and the slide and then sitting on the little platform area...He was all over the place! He is starting to take more like 3 to 4 steps at a time now, but still realizing it's faster to crawl!
Kara took the kids to the pool yesterday for the first time. It was a good time, but Kara was a little stressed out. First time to the pool with 6 kids and 3 that are two and under...I would say that was stressful! The kids had a great time. Since Rylee got two pools for her birthday we were going to return one, but instead she decided that they should take on to daycare to use there...So today they took the basketball pool that Tim & Emily got her to Kara's. Kara was going to blow it up this morning, so they could play in it this afternoon! Should be fun to hear how it went.

And it Starts...

Rylee - Swinging for the Fences!

Rylee - Running to "1st"

Although it was way too hot out last night. Rylee had a great time at her first T-ball practice. I am not sure who was more excited, Rylee, Mom, or Dad! Okay...It was Dad! I think he has been waiting for this moment since the day she was born, actually it might of been since the day I told him I was pregnant...Wait...It might have been since the day we got married...Okay...Better go back even further then that...Let's just say his entire adult life! ha ha! He was very excited! We had to provide a glove and helmet. Rylee got a new glove for her birthday from Grandma Judy so that was covered, but Trent was going to get her a helmet. Long story short she ended up with a helmet, baseball/softball bag, a t-ball bat, cleats, and a Tee for practicing at home! Good thing he went to Play it Again sports or we would be broke! Anyway, Things went good last night. She had a great time and seemed to do well. They will not play any games or anything...It's just teaching them basic rules and fundementals. Next comes soccer...Stay tuned!

Over Tired!

We had a nice weekend, but last night everyone in the house was over tired including myself. Kale had been cranky on and off all day, and wasn't napping real well either. The big issue with him started in the morning, when Eli decided it was time to wake him up! What is the rule my friends? You never wake a sleeping baby! Well, that was true yesterday! He was cranky the rest of the day! Eli was tired from running around at the game, and playing outside all weekend. Rylee went to Trent's Mom's house on Friday night and didn't come back until Sunday afternoon (she brought her to the game), so She was tired out too! Infact she actually feel asleep in the car on the way home from the game, which doesn't happen anymore!

We grilled out burgers for supper and gave Trent his cards. We got him a swing for the porch, which was just too big to hide, so he put it together on Friday night. It was raining out and after he got it together, Eli, Trent, Kale, and I sat under the porch and swang! Both the boys feel asleep out there! It was so relaxing! Swinging, hearing and watching the rain...The swing was a big hit! It was a nice weekend!

Rylee starts T-ball tonight, so I am sure I will have pictures of that to post tomorrow!

Smile Pretty!

Kale @ 9 months

Rylee @ 5 years old
So we headed into Madison last night and got Rylee's 5 year pictures and Kale's 9 month pictures taken. They turned out very cute. Rylee did a good job of smiling natural and not what I like to refer to as her cheese ball smile! Kale was a challenge. He didn't want to even sit still! So we had to give him something to hold to keep him in one place. All in all they turned out cute. Here are some of the pictures.
We then headed over to Hu Hot's for supper...It's a Mongolian grill! Rylee, Eli, and I had been there before, but Trent wasn't with us that night. So Rylee had to show him the ropes. She was super cute! It's a place where you put the ingredients you want in a bowl, and then add sauce and they cook it for you. She was telling him to pick out his meat, and add noodles...It was funny! After that we stopped by the baseball game for a couple minutes. They lost 5-0!
Earlier in the day Elijah, Rylee, and Trent had gone to the Circus world Museum in Baraboo. They are one of Trent's customers and they gave him free passes! Sounds like they had a great time. They watched a magic show and rode the carousel. Trent said that they had a nice time! He took some pics with a disposable camera, but I will have to get those developed to share!

Squishing their Heads?

When we go home last night I told Rylee to run downstairs and get the dogs and then bring the puppies up so we could feed them. She did, one puppy at a time. So, six trips later...I was able to feed them. When I put the bowls of food into the pen, I always grab their heads and stick there noses in the food, so they know what it is and they normally start to eat then. I then made supper and after we were done eating we went out back with the puppies to let them burn off energy! Eli kept being rough with the pups. I yelled at him to stop, I bet you 5 times! Well, finally I had had enough and told him that he wouldn't be allowed to play with them anymore if he didn't stop! He looked at me and said..."But you squished their heads!"

At first, I didn't know what he meant, but after so investigation he was talking about when I stick there noses in the food! How do you explain that to a soon to be 3 year old! AHH! Oh well! I made me laugh!

Tonight we go and get Rylee's 5 year pictures taken and Kale's 9 month pictures! I will post some tomorrow!

Sidewalk Chalk!

Didn't Cheryl do an awesome job Chalking?
So yesterday Trent took the kids to Grandma & Grandpa Schneider's for the day. They all had a great time! They played baseball, saw the cats and cows, watched a movie, and played hard. They also stopped to see Grandma Hendrickson too! Sounds like they all had a great time! Everyone was wore out last night, including Daddy! They always love to spend time with the Grandparents, and Great Grandparents!

The other big news that I didn't share yet is that Kale took his first steps this weekend. He was 9 months old on Wednesday and took his first steps on Saturday! It was very exciting. He has been taking 2 to 3 at a time! Look out world...here he comes. My Aunt made the perfect comment about him starting to walk! Kale goes in one direction, Eli in another, and the puppies in 6 other directions! Totally true! The good thing is so far the puppies and Kale listen! It's Eli that we have to worry about! ha ha! I am going to try and get him on video tonight or tomorrow night taking his little wobbly steps! They are just so cute! My baby is growing up too fast!

What a nice day!

I think that Rylee had a great day, yesterday! When we got home last night Trent and Rylee were outside playing with the puppies. The movie was a sucess! We asked her about the day, and she said she had a great time! Then we had BBQ Chicken and Noodles for supper. It was a good night!

Today we had Rylee's 5 year checkup. This is the one that prepares them for kindergarten! So it was a lengthy appointment. They checked everything including her eyes! (20/20 by the way!) The Doctor asked he lots of questions and checked her out good! He gave us some new stuff to try on her planters warts that she has on her feet. They had gone away, but are coming back now! We also talked about the growing pains that she gets. He is a little concerned about them, just because she has been getting them for two years already, and she says that the top of her ankle hurts. Usually it just more the shin that hurts with growing pains. He also said that her calf muscles seem to be tight. So he wants us to go to a specialist and have him look at her feet/legs just to make sure that it is growing pains and not something else that is causing the pain in her "ankles". Besides those minor things she got a clean bill of health and 4 shots! She wasn't happy about the shots at all! I think more scared then that they actually hurt, but all in all she was a trooper! Now she is ready for kindergarten, well medically anyway! :) She is still above the 97% for Height and Weight! Her growth isn't slowing done that is for sure!

This picture is from Saturday...She was saying "Thank you" to everyone! She looks a little nervous doesn't she!

Kale and the Pups!

This is picture of Kale with one of the pups!

No puppies were harmed in the taking of this picture!

Aren't they cute!

Happy 5th Birthday, Rylee!

Can you beleive that my baby is 5 already! WOW! I know when she is 50 years old I will be saying the same thing! She was joking with me today that she likes being 5...She is a whole handful! Too cute!

Besides that the weekend was great! Thank you to everyone that came to the party! It was a lot of fun and Rylee had a great day...She got lots of fun stuff, and nice clothes. We had a wonderful day. Today she stayed home from daycare with Trent. He has the week off of work. They made cinnomon rolls for breakfast. They meet me here in Sauk for Lunch and then were heading into Madison to see a movie! She was very excited! I asked her what she wanted for supper, and she told me TV Dinners! Really! Come on...So we talked about it a little more and she said BBQ Chicken on the grill!

I think she is pretty excited about this birthday! She asked us at lunch if she got to be five forever! Trent laughed and said...Yep, Forever until you turn six! :) It was cute!

Only one...

Rylee with Blue Male Pup
So last night Mom came up and got Eli and Rylee and took them back with her, so I can get ready for the big birthday party on Saturday. They are going to be doing some gardening and yard stuff...Which means lots of gator rides for the kids! So, this morning I just had to get Kale up and ready to go. It was so strange. It was like I had nothing to do this morning. I was out of the house early, to work early! Amazing...Having only one is easy! Why when it was just Rylee did I think this was hard! Ironic!

Last night me and some of my coworkers went out and celebrated Thabatha (one of my co-worker's) 30th birthday. It was a good time! We were home early even! It's always fun to see people outside of work that you don't normally. Some are much nicer, some are still quiet, some let loose! It always add a new dynamic! Happy 30th Thabatha!

Let's Try this again...

So...Long story short (AGAIN!) I am not at all happy with my new blogsite on Yahoo. I having trouble with my posts, I can't get pictures to upload and my text is showing weird characters. So after so complaints from loyal blog readers, and my own frustrations...I am making the switch! I have several friends that have blogs on this site and are very happy with it. So...Sorry for the confusion again, but this will now be my perminent site! :)

Things are good with us. We have been getting ready for Rylee's birthday party (Which is Saturday). Rylee is very excited about it! She picked out plates and stuff for the party this weekend (Dollar store is a great place!). She changed her mind on what she wants on her cake. At first she told Grandma she wanted flowers and now she wants puppies! It's fun to see her get excited! Eli has been a pistol the last week...He is entering that "testing" phase! AHH! Not one of my favorites! The good news is that he has been going pee on the potty every morning for the last week an half! Kale is also doing good. He is standing all by himself, and I have a feeling that he will be ready to take some steps soon! He got a second tooth too! They are all growing too fast!

This picture is of Eli...He was trying to get to the puppies, and he fell into the playpen! Of course instead of helping him, I had to get a picture! :) I will make sure to blog everyday again...Now that I like the site!
